Love and Loss
Grief Counselling
'We grieve because..... we have loved'
Grief is a response to a loss in your life ....... or a change you did not want
There are many reasons why someone is grieving. It might be because someone you loved has died. Maybe a significant relationship has come to an end. You may have lost something important to you, or some unwelcome changes have disrupted your life. You may have lost your adored pet, your independence or the future you had imagined for yourself. Maybe it's anticipatory grief, such as caring for someone with an illness or having to move from your home.
No matter where it comes from, grief is as individual as your fingerprint.
No two people will ever grieve the same, not even siblings. There is no one way to grieve and there is no timeline. This can make it hard to share your grief with others, who don't understand exactly how you are feeling. You may be judging yourself, thinking you aren't reacting normally, because your grief is different to those around you.
Your grief is normal, because it is your grief.
Talking helps.
I'm here to listen to and witness your grief.
the depth of the love
is the depth of the grief

A bit about me....
When grieving for something you have lost, feeling understood and heard can be exactly what you need.
I provide a safe and welcoming place for everyday people - an opportunity for you to talk about whatever is on your mind, free from judgement.
I will listen to your story and provide guidance and support through your journey. Together we'll explore ideas to honor your loss, create meaningful connections and assist you in developing skills to make life more manageable.
I will use a person-centered approach and mindfulness techniques where appropriate, but mostly I will listen.
I have a relaxed, approachable and down-to-earth attitude, helping to put you at ease.
Grief can be debilitating, so I'm glad you have found me.
